"CROWD PLEAZARR"
2009 bay gelding by ZARR and out of Bella the
Ball (TB)
"Rowdy" is by the very popular hunter stallion, Zarr and the
first foal out of Bella the Ball, who was very successful in the
hunter ring, including ribbons at West Palm Beach. He should
mature to be 16.1 to 16.2hds. He is an beautiful mover with big
sweeping gaits. This one got his daddy's hack winning
movement! He is very sweet and nice to work with around the
barn. Personality and temperament plus. Rowdy is very leggy and
athletic, will be a good performance horse in the hunter ring.
Loves to swap his leads out in the field! This little guy was
blessed with tons of chrome to complete this fancy package....
Rowdy is eligible for the International Hunter Futurity (IHF)
and sells with a full nomination, paperwork is currently
pending. The Zarr offspring have been wildly successful in this
particular program. Zarr was the leading IHF sire for 3 years in
a row (2004 to 2006).

"MIDDLEWAY'S HANDSOME
DEVIL"
JLA Sir William x Hailey's
Comet
2005 Welsh x QH bay large pony prospect
Newsflash:
2008 Devon Pony Breeding Day (May 22nd)
"TAZ" WAS CROWNED BEST PENNSYLVANIA BRED
PONY AT THE DEVON HORSE SHOW THIS YEAR.
- HE WAS THE WINNER OF THE 3YO PONY COLT CLASS
- HE WAS ALSO THE WINNER OF THE PRODUCE OF DAM CLASS (produce of
Hailey's Comet)
This
pony has had some other incredible highlights to his young showing
career as well. He was the 2007 Zone III 2yo Pony Breeding
Champion as well as the PHSA Champion 2yo Pony Colt and 2yo PA
bred Pony. He was the 2006 Reserve Champion Zone III Yearling Pony
Breeding Champion with limited showing. Taz has ribboned at every
one of the major shows including Devon and Upperville since he was
a yearling.
This fancy young pony has already made his mark at the big shows
and will certainly win the model. But, as impressive as his pony
breeding resume is, this pony can do much more than just stand
there and look pretty!
Taz is by JLA Sir William, so this one is bred to jump! JLA
Sir William is the same sire of top performance ponies such as
"Sham's Loganberry",
"Denmark", "Rockette", and
"Hoof and a Prayer" ,
just to name a few. Taz
is a great mover and incredible over fences, he jumps in
textbook form. He was started under saddle after Upperville
this year. He is quiet to ride, no spook. He has a beautiful
expression to the jumps and has a HUGE step. This is a definite
Large Pony prospect and will mature to be a top of the line
large pony, easy measure. Taz is easy to ride and live with...he
is sound, has no vices or known health problems. He will be a
simple pony to finish and get ready for the greens next year.
This special pony has the talent to take him all the way, don’t
miss out on tomorrow’s star in the Larges!

"SHAKESPEARE"
2003 Grey Dutch x TB 16.2 hd gelding
by Nupasse and out of Shooting Star
Shakespeare was shown in the Young Hunter U/S classes in 2007 with
good ribbons. He is a great mover and fantastic over fences, his
lead changes are natural easy. He has lots of step to the jumps
and walks the lines. He has a great canter and has a steady rhythm
to the jumps, very easy to find the distances on. He is schooling
around at home over 2'6" with solid changes. Unfortunately, the
owner's financial situation has put restraints on his show mileage
and training.
With his step and scope, Shakespeare will make a fantastic 3'6"
horse for someone. With his athletic ability, he would be a great
3'6" horse for the hunter, equitation or even the jumper ring. But
with his lofty jump, big stride and movement, I think he would
shine in the first years in 2010. This is a very nice young horse
that any professional would be proud to show.
The current owner is also his breeder, so we are looking for the
right show home situation to make this horse shine.....

"ADORAMUS"
2006 bay DWB x TB gelding by Aslan (Alla' Czar) and out of a TB
mare
"Andi" is a BEAUTIFUL mover and has 3 very elastic gaits. His lead
changes are natural and effortless. He has a great presence about
him that the Alla' Czar offspring is known for as well as the kind
& willing temperament. He is extremely athletic and is a natural
over fences....please click on the link below to view a few clips
of Andi at liberty & freejumping, he is incredible. He is going to
make a fabulous 3'6" horse for someone. Andi is very enthusiastic
about anything you do with him and loves attention. He is
extremely sweet and very good to work around. Great to clip,
bathe, tie, etc. He was not shown as a yearling last year due to
the fact that he was a bit of a late bloomer, as many WB boys
are. Andi is now about 16.0 hds and is really coming into his own.
He should mature to be 16.2 to 16.3 hds. He can been seen showing
in the Hunter Breeding Divisions in the 2yo non-TB colt & geldings
class this year.

"JUST
HEAVENLY"
2004 bay Welsh/ QH pony mare, 13.1 hds +
"Bunny" is going to be the children's pony deluxe....She is a good
mover, smooth to ride, jumps adorably. Her lead changes are easy &
getting very consistent. Bunny is ready to walk into the
pre-children's ring now and will ready to move into the children's
shortly after with a little more show mileage.
This pony is very kid safe and uncomplicated. Bunny was usually
champion or reserve almost every time out last year in the short
stirrup division as a 3yo with a 7yo child. Not many ponies are
quiet & easy enough for that....but this one certainly is. She has
a great work ethic and is very nice to work around. She also
showed lightly in the pony breeding classes since she was a
yearling and did well.
(2006 PHSA Champion 2yo PA bred and Reserve Champion 2yo pony,
2007 Reserve Champion 3yo PA bred Pony & 3rd PHSA Young Pony
Hunter U/S....all with limited showing!!!)
Bunny is sound, clean-legged and has no vices. She has the best
feet in the world, currently barefoot. She is a super sweet pony
that anyone would love to keep in the barn.
This is a nice pony that will make your child shine in the
pre-children's ring this year and will be the ultimate children's
pony. A lease to purchase option may be available to the right
show home.

"AMBLESIDE BRIAR ROSE"
2004 14.1 hd Welsh x Appendix bay pony mare
Glannant Scarab x My Kinda Diamond
"Rosie" is as sweet as she is pretty. She has lived and shown here
with us since she was a yearling. She is a really nice mover, has
good lead changes both ways and jumps great. Will mature to be a
top of the line large pony. She is going to be the ultimate large
children's pony when she is finished. Rosie is quiet to ride,
extremely wonderful to work around in the barn and at the shows.
She is very calm & kid-safe. She always has the best willing
expression with happy pricked ears, not mareish at all. She is
hacking and jumping small courses quietly with easy lead changes.
Rosie has accumulated quite the show record already....She has
been the USEF Zone II Pony Breeding Champion as well as PHSA
Champion the past 3 years (2005 as a yearling, 2006 as a 2yo, &
2007 as a 3yo). This pony has many Best & Reserve Best Young Pony
Titles on her resume from the past 3 years. She also was the 2007
PHSA Reserve Champion Young Hunter Pony U/S. She will definitely
get a top model prize!
We also trained and sold Rosie's 1/2 brother (same mom), "Ambleside
Touch of Grey", who went on to show in the large greens
successfully with a client of Bradley Caine's. He was super quiet
and easy as is Rosie.
Rosie has no vices or known
health problems. She has been a pleasure to raise and start here
at the farm, she has been very sensible & easy about everything
from day one. This would be a great pony to start your child in
the short stirrup hunter division and eventually be the ultimate
children's pony with some finishing. This pony is ready to walk
into the Pre-Children's ring now for 2009. All the right pieces are
there, she just needs some more show mileage.

"DEAUVILLE"
2008 Dark bay Filly
By DeLaurentis x Sherbrooke
"LE" is a yearling filly by DeLaurentis and the first foal out of
Sherbrooke (TB). Sherbrooke was a successful show hunter
that competed in the A/O Hunter Division, including good ribbons
at WEF.
LE was shown lightly in the Hunter Breeding Classes this year with
great results. She was the 2009 PHSA Champion PA-bred Yearling
Filly and 3rd place Non-TB Yearling Filly with limited showing.
She was 4th in a very large Non-TB Yearling Fily Class at Devon
and brought home several tricolors this year.
LE is a beautiful mover and looks like she has a big jump in her
to follow in her mother's hoofprints and be a good 3'6" horse. She
has a great natural instinct to find a good distance and very
fluid/ smooth jump.

"MESTENO"
2004 13.0 hand bay pony gelding
"Envy" is the future short stirrup pony deluxe. No spook,
silliness. Even though he is still a little green, he is going to
be a great kids' pony. He is very smooth to ride and has very
comfortable gaits. He is a really cute mover and jumper. This pony
always pins well in the hacks. He is currently w/t/c and jumping
small courses very quietly. Envy is very brave, yet slow and
steady to the jumps. He jumps adorably! We started playing with
his lead changes and he will get them down the diagonals. He is on
the pokey side to ride, which is nice for the kids. This pony is
very trustworthy and sensible for kids to work around (he does
beg for peppermints however!)
Envy has been going to horse shows since he was a yearling....he
showed and placed well in the Pony Hunter Breeding Divisions. In
2006, as a 2yo, he was the Zone II Reserve Champion 2 yo pony (to
one of our other client's ponies) and was the PHSA 2yo Champion
Hunter Pony Colt. Since then, he has gone to several local shows
unde saddle and placed well in the schooling and short stirrup
classes. He is as quiet at the shows as he is at home, which is
great.
Owner is currently in college and needs to half-lease or lease
this pony indefinitely while she finishes school. Envy has lived
with us since he was 2 months old....We are primarily looking for
a special child to lease him here at Magic Hill Farm for a VERY
REASONABLE FEE to continue his training. We would also consider a
lease to an outside farm if Envy would be placed in a program
under a professional's care & supervision.
If you are looking for a safe and cute project pony to work with
and show on a budget, here he is!
Please contact Emily for more details and pricing at magichillfarm@aol.com or call 610 689-0150

"MIDDLEWAY'S
TIA MARIA"
JLA Sir William x Hailey's Comet
2006 Welsh x QH Large chestnut filly
FULL SIBLING TO MIDDLEWAY'S HANDSOME DEVIL
NEWS FLASH FROM DEVON 2008:
~Middleway's Tia Maria and Middleway's
Handsome Devil WIN THE PRODUCE OF DAM CLASS
"Tia" started out her show career with a
bang... She was the 2006 GRAND PA/NJ WEANLING PONY CHAMPION at 3
months old. She showed lightly in the pony breeding divisions as
a yearling and did very well. She ended up the PHSA Reserve
Champion Yearling Hunter Pony Filly & 3rd place PHSA PA bred
Yearling Pony for 2006, all with limited showing. Tia topped off
her successful year by winning her class and being named the
CHAMPION YEARLING PONY FILLY at the PA Hunter Breeders' Futurity
in September 2007.
Tia is incredibly sweet and easy to work around. She is super
quiet and very sensible. This filly is a nice mover and has a
beautiful head and neck. Most importantly, she has a GREAT
MIND. This will be a great large children's pony and later a
phenomenal asset to any pony breeding program. Owner is retiring
from the pony breeding business and looking for a good show home
for Tia.
This is a super quiet pony that has been handled daily since she
was a foal. She has been started under saddle this summer and
was easy to start. She is currently w/t/c and started over
fences. Tia has also been out to some shows under saddle to do
some sight seeing and get some mileage as well.

"SECRET PLEASURE"
2004 16.1hd black TB gelding by Leelanau.
"Beau" is big & pretty!!! He was professionally started by MHF as
a 2yo last fall for owner. After being in training for several
months for the track, owner decided he was too slow to run. He was
taken off the track 100% sound, sane and with no blemishes or
vices. He is very nice to work around and live with. Beau had 3
months off to rest and get fat,& is now back in training as a show
horse. He is a cute mover and quiet to ride, soft in your hand and
moves off your leg well. You can tell he was started by a
hunter/jumper professional. He walks, trots, canters and picks up
both leads easily. He bends well in both directions as well and
will be easy to finish. Beau would be a great project horse for
someone to finish for themselves or a nice resale horse for
someone who is willing to put in a little time. Beau is 100% sound
and has no vices.

"FOXMOR HOODO"
2003 (5yo) 13.2 hd (temp card)
Registered 1/2 Welsh bay gelding by Telynau Elgar.
"Foxy" is a beautiful mover and jumper, with a big step that walks
lines. He will get a top model ribbon as well. His first and only
time out in the pony breeding(as a 2yo), he was Best Young Pony at
the MD State Fair. "Foxy" will be a serious contender in the
medium ponies, he is a top of the line "easy" measure. He is great
to live with and is very kid savvy. He will be an easy pony to
finish, just needs some more show mileage.
This pony will make your child a star the short stirrup division
and will be easy enough for them to make up to be a pony division
pony with a professional's help. He is quiet & slow with a younger
rider, but will march down the lines and do the numbers with a
older child. Foxy is very sweet and gentle, no spook or silliness.
You'll never believe that he is 5yrs old, because he acts like an
old pro. He is as quiet at the horse shows as he is at home. Foxy
is sound, has no known health problems or vices.
